ScoutTract is operated by the ScoutTract account owner.
What we collect
- Account details for signed-in users (username, email, role).
- Field data you choose to capture in the app: GPS position, photos and notes.
- For the App Link program: the mobile number or email address an install link is sent to. Numbers are stored as a keyed hash with only the last digits visible, plus the send status.
- For trial invitations: the invitee's name, email address (if given), a hashed mobile number (if given), the optional note, and who sent it. A hash of the email/number is kept after the trial so each person gets only one free trial.
- When you accept these documents: the document versions, time, IP address and browser user agent.
How it is used
To run the ScoutTract application, sync your field data, and send the install link you or an administrator requested. Text messages are delivered through Twilio and email through our mail provider.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to deliver messages and host the app.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Trial reminder emails have an unsubscribe link and a switch in the app. To delete your account or field data, contact catchall@scouttract.com.
Security
The app is served over HTTPS; offline data on your phone is cleared when you sign out, except saved map areas and unsynced captures, which you can delete in the app.
